Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget (2023)

I worked as a VFX Production Assistant on the Netflix and Aardman Animations feature, Chicken Run 2: Dawn of the Nugget. I was embedded with the creative and technical teams, serving as the central hub for communication to ensure the entire visual effects pipeline ran smoothly. My contributions ultimately earned me an on-screen credit for the film. Here’s what that really means. I was the logistical backbone for a team of over 30 artists, managing asset delivery through ShotGrid and proactively clearing production blockers to keep everything on schedule. I coordinated work across multiple departments, from animation to lighting, ensuring everyone was aligned and that our pipeline complied with the final client delivery workflows. I also tracked all key project milestones and maintained meticulous internal documentation, authoring the reports that gave leadership a clear, concise view of our progress. The result was a seamless flow of information that helped the team deliver a film that went on to be nominated for a BAFTA for Best Animated Film.
